Toenail Fungus Causes

Fungal nails may cause by many kinds of fungi but the most common is Trichophyton Rubrum. This starts as a discolored area on the nails at the corner and slowly spread at the outer of the nail and spreads toward the nail.

One of the major causes for the toenail fungus is wearing tight fitting shoes. The second cause for toenail is wearing layers of toenail polish.

Compare to the fingernail fungus toenail infection grows slowly. The main cause for the fungus is moving in the humid, warm environment by wearing the shoe or slippers will encourage the fungal to grow more.

And other fungus is non-dermatophytic pathogens of toenail fungus that include the Aspergillus, Scopulariopsis which affect the people moving all the time in the warm and humid temperature.

A severe separation might result in bleeding from the nail.

These fungus will easily move from foot to foot and from person to person. Locker rooms are tarnished for spreading the toenail fungus and athlete’s foot. Low-priced pair of sandals or bath shoes will help us avoid picking anything up for the next time when we move to the showers.

We can prevent these by:

  • Wearing perfect shoes that fit us.
  • Keeping toenails at an enough length and trim them straight across.
